While his colleagues have described Major as talented, friendly and a good improviser, he also produces and writes his own original music. . Major channels the energy of the Californian spirit into his music and his goal is to unite people from different cultures. He believes that through music, dance, food and love for each other, we can all make our world a better and richer place.

Matt Major’s love for music came at a very young age. . He was born and raised in a family of musicians, although he also lives on the west coast, which has a huge hip-hop and Latin music culture. While at home, he listened to the Gypsy Kings, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson and classical music.

Matt Major has acted in; Havana, Cuba, Prague, Czech Republic, and is currently based in Valencia, Spain. He has performed at the Beverly Hill Food and Wine Festival in Los Angeles, CA, the WE-DAY Festival at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA, and also the Farm to Table Festival in Sacramento, CA. . He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in contemporary performance at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.
