RADIO CITY VLC welcomes within its doors a new edition of ‘Art of Noise’, a unique battle of rhythms that captivates the public without live performances or equipment. Different producers will show their rhythms and beats in a competition in the purest ‘Batalla de Gallos’ style but where voice, meter and ingenuity are replaced by sampling, technology and creativity. Admission to the public is free and for producers who want to participate you have all the information here.

Genres: Hip-hop, Afro Beats, Urban

Procedure:

The host of the event welcomes the audience and introduces the producers. A brief description of the competition format and evaluation criteria.

Round 1 – Gender 1 (Urban) 2 Times Each

Each producer plays their first beat of the genre (1.5 minutes). Judges provide feedback and scores based on the criteria Producers are ranked based on their scores.

Round 2 – Genre 2 (AfroBeats) 2 beats each.

The producers play their second beat in the AfroBeats genre (1.5 minutes). Judges provide feedback and scores. Producers are reclassified based on cumulative scores from Round 1 and Round 2.

Round 3 – Genre 3 (Hip Hop) 2 beats each

The producers play their third beat in the Hip Hop genre (1.5 minutes). Judges provide feedback and scores.The final ranking is determined based on the cumulative scores of the three genres.

Prizes: 1st place: 200 euros 2nd place: 75 euros 3rd place: 25 euros
