About Sebastian Kuchczynski – Award-winning Drummer, Composer & Arranger
Drummer, Sebastian Kuchczynski originally from Brodnica in Poland is a 2018 graduate of the Global Jazz Master’s Program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The genres of music that he practises are Contemporary, R&B, Jazz, and Neo-Soul. He is the member of soul-hip hop band called “Radiostatik”, led by pianist Michał Wróblewski. Kuchczynski is a 3-time nominee for “Fryderyk” award (a Polish equivalent for I+US Grammy) in debut album category. In 2017 he moved to the US where he worked with many great musicians including George Garzone, Marco Pignataro, Danilo Perez and Joe Lovano.
KGC is a SEBASTIAN KUCHCZYNSKI’s new project which connect different backgrounds from jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul to folk. 5-persons group using modern sounds provide huge amount of energy. Not obvious beats with charismatic melodies and harmony create a platform glue all groundings. The Team’s DNA is located in neo-soul and various time experiments between different sections in the band. Sebastian’s backflash from home music related to folk is also concluded in a whole sound giving a quality never happened before. Baddest band ever included players like DANIEL DENIS PROPHETE – guitar, effect, FAIRIN MOON – voice, NATALIA LACRETE– voice, SPD’s, Moog, percussions, SEAN OLIVER – bass, effects.
