Sergio Calero

Born in Seville. He has been trained since his beginnings with his father, Antonio Calero. However, he successfully completed his career at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Sevilla with professors Gaelle Solal and Antonio Duro. He completes his training by attending international courses given by the greatest guitar masters such as Pepe Romero, David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, etc. At the same time, he receives artistic advice directly from Joaquín Clerch at the Hochschule für Musik "Robert Schumann" in Düsseldorf, Germany. In 2012, he was awarded First Prize at the "Andrés Segovia" International Festival in Madrid. He has performed, as a soloist and in different chamber ensembles, for institutions and official organizations in his hometown, throughout Spain, England and Germany. He has taught at various conservatories in Andalusia, Extremadura and Madrid.
